PATHWAYS TO LEADERSHIP
Throughout 2016-17 YWCA Adelaide delivered the Pathways to
Leadership Project, funded by the Department for Communities and
Social Inclusion, and delivered in partnership with Enfield Primary
School and Roma Mitchell Secondary College.
The Pathways to Leadership Project worked
with girls and young women from culturally
diverse backgrounds in supporting successful
transitions to high school, mentoring and peer
connections, and pathways for leadership.

Transition workshops were also held at the
start of 2017 to support peer connections
between new year 8 students and students in
year 10-12.

International Women’s Day, and out of the
transition workshops the students continued to
