EVERY GIRL
Every Girl is YWCA’s 8 week national young women’s program promoting
civic engagement, human rights, strengths and personal voice.
In 2013/2014 Every Girl was delivered with groups of school girls at Our Lady
of the Sacred Heart College where 1 program was delivered in Term 4 2013
and at Mt Compass Area School where 2 programs were delivered in Term 2
2014.
43 girls participated in the program and implemented community events to
raise awareness about important community issues.
At Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College participants held a bake sale
which raised awareness and money for Fred’s Van, providing meals for
homeless South Australians. At Mt Compass Area School the two programs
combined to hold a pancake and cupcake sale to raise awareness and
money for RSPCA.

Gibson for their inspired delivery this year.
