Talking about food, we tried different foods that we think would satisfy our stomach. These are the dimsums (like chicken feet, hakaw, steamed beancurd roll and siomai), xiao long bao, mapo tofu, Lemon Chicken, Yang Chow fried rice, Pork Szechuan style, Sweet and sour fish fillet and Fresh Mango shake with sago.

Among the dimsums that we ordered, what I like best is the siomai and the hakaw. Their siomai is meaty and compared to others it felt like it doesn’t have a lot of extenders on it. On the other hand the hakaw is really not that salty and it is really yummy compared to what we had in our ASIANC2 class.

The xiao long bao did not met my expectations since what we know about it is that it looks like a siomai but a bigger one then when you eat it, the soup would literally burst in your mouth. However, the one that we had is dry and the taste is not that good. The mapo tofu that we had is a little bit saucy and at the same time it has a light colour compared to the ones that we were taught in class. Yang chow fried rice was really good in terms of appearance and taste because it is not that salty or bland.

During our stay in the restaurant, I have observed that the wait staffs are not very attentive to the needs of the guest. Like for an instance when one of our group mates is still ordering food for us, he left w/o any good reason. Another thing that I have observed is that their table set up is properly arranged and they also have a lazy susan in the middle of the table. Surprisingly when I tried their washroom, it is clean and it smells good.

To sum it up, it was a great experience! I really had fun with my group mates eating and trying different authentic Chinese dishes. The price of the food that we paid for is acceptable since majority of the food that we had is good and also it has a big serving portions compared to other restaurants. If I had the chance to go back to this place, I will surely go back and eat again their Hakaw, Lemon Chicken and also their Fresh Mango Shake with Sago.
