This is the reason why the Mishkan was built from‘ Atzei Schittim’( cedar wood).‘ Schittim’ is from the word‘ Shtus’( foolishness). This then, is the most important Avodah – to transform the foolishness and excitement of the animal soul into“ foolishness” of Kedusha.
( Something that“ doesn’ t make sense,” is called“ foolish”. Now, in Kedusha – Torah and Mitzvos – too, there are things that“ don’ t make sense” – meaning, they are too high or too great for us to understand. We call them“ foolish” but we don’ t really mean that they are foolish, but rather they“ don’ t make sense” to us.)
