Kyla Frye is an award-winning actress\r\nand model from East London. \r\nBBC1 \r\nInternational Street Dance\r\nChampionships \r\nWembley Arena and Sadler’s Wells.\r\nTheatre Royal Stratford East’s\r\nYouth Theatre and Identity Drama School\r\nand Agency.\r\nUK Urban Fashion\r\nAwards catwalk team.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nMiss Black Britain 2006, Rachael Williams, she would go on to appear\r\nat London Fashion Week and model for Sony\r\nEricsson, 3 Mobile, hair care brand Sta-SofFro, celebrity fashion designers\r\nRomero Bryan and Emmy Collins, and\r\nnumerous beauty publications.\r\nNelson Mandela \r\nNoel Clarke’s BBC\r\nThree drama ‘West 10 LDN’, Criminology\r\nand Drama, Theatre and Performance at\r\nRoehampton University.\r\nBest British Actress at the\r\nBlack Filmmakers Awards for her role in\r\n‘The Hydra’, which won Best Film on the\r\nnight and in 2010, Kyla collected Black\r\nEntertainment, Film, Fashion,Television\r\nand Arts (BEFFTA) awards for Best Model\r\nand in 2011 was nominated for Best Film\r\nActress, respectively.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, in 2011, she received a\r\nBYA Award in honour of her work in the\r\nperforming arts and now represents the\r\norganisation as an ambassador. Kyla also\r\nfeatured in comedian Angie Le Mar’s play,\r\nYounger Brothers and in a series of\r\nproductions at Soho Theatre.\r\nMore recently, Kyla made her big screen\r\ndebut in Sheila Nortley’s ‘Zion’ and celebrated the premiere of her first feature film, ‘The\r\nNaked Poet’, directed by Jason Barrett.\r\nNot content with just being in front of the\r\ncamera, Kyla has now set up her own\r\nproduction company, Fryeday Entertainment\r\nLTD. and released her filmmaking debut,\r\n‘The Key’ – which was seen by over 21,000\r\npeople on TV and the most watched of all\r\nthe British Urban Film Festival (BUFF) shows\r\non BBC iPlayer.
