4th October – Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying issues a warning to protesters, stating that demonstrators have until the 6th October to remove themselves and their barricades to allow government employees to return to work.
6th October – Some protesters remove barricades, allowing civil servants to return to work. Other protesters continue to camp out on the streets.
15th November – Three pro-democracy student leaders from the Federation of Students are prevented from travelling to Beijing
25th November – Fights break out as protest sites are cleared.
9th December – A Hong Kong court orders the removal of barricaded protest sites from the main camp in downtown’s Admiralty district.
11th December – 7,000 police officers clear the protesters from the main Occupy Central, arresting 247 people.
