Abstract
In the present work we revise a popular experiment of Physical Chemistry, i.e. the measurement
of mixing enthalpy for two miscible solvents as a function of the molar fraction. Using the model
developed in Part I, the pair interaction energy terms were derived from the experimental data.
Students were able to estimate the molecular size. The obtained values were compared with those
obtained by using the Literature’s mixing enthalpy curves and other thermodynamic data.
