Abstract
Click chemistry is the combination of powerful, highly reliable and selective organic reactions.
It includes all one-pot synthetic reactions without harmful side products. Due to simple and
straightforward synthetic pathways, reactions performed by click chemistry are widely applied
in polymer synthesis and medicine. This review type research examines synthetic pathways of
medications containing triazole rings and studies their application in medicine. Triazoles are
five membered hetero-rings which are part of antifungal, antitumor, antiviral, and antibacterial
medications. The primary focus of review is to describe synthesis of medications with two
cores connected through triazole ring. Triazole rings are synthesized by copper catalyzed
alkyne-azide cycloaddition reactions.
