Ron Swanson
Ron Swanson started as an art major in college, then turned to accounting and

his artwork was juried into the California Water Color Association National Show. The
venue for the show was the San Francisco Academy of Art University Gallery. Mr.
Swanson has taken poetry classes from James Mitsui, who has had several of his
poems appear in magazines, anthologies and textbooks. This poem by Mr. Swanson
was written while attending Mr. Mitsui’s class. This is Mr. Swanson’s first poem to be
published.

future.

for adventure at his door. His favorite kind of Gelato is lemon, and he loves rain more
than he loves most things.
Anne Tuominen
To Anne Tuominen, images of the social world are eye candy. She is an especially
keen photographer of social activity in outdoor street scenes and indoor museum
settings, and is learning to take sports action shots with a new telephoto lens that
attaches to her mobile phone camera. Her images are often used in her teaching
materials and she actively shares and uses open source images on Flickr: https://www.
