Artist and Author Bios
Rhea Abbott
Rhea Abbott is a naturopathic physician practicing in Kenmore, Washington where
she lives with her husband and two sons. Writing folklore, myths, and short tragic sto-
ries got her through med school, and helped her work through some of life’s toughest
lessons. Though she wrote profusely as a girl, her first hefty bit of writing came in 4th
grade: a screenplay for Jurassic Park 2 that (rightly) never saw the light of day. The
works of Stephen King have been a constant and powerful influence on her writing,
since reading The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon in high school.
Carly Baker
Carly is receiving her AAS in Global Studies at Cascadia before transferring to Universi-
ty of Washington to continue her education in International Studies. When not working
as a veterinary technician or in school, she spends most of her time outdoors with her
two dogs. She is an advocate for local food, creativity, and social justice. Follow Car-

Anna Bloch
Anna Bloch was born and raised in Europe and moved to the United States in 2009.
She is currently a freshman at Cascadia College working towards her Integrated Stud-
ies Associates Degree while working as a graphic designer for Student Life. She has a
love and passion for many different art forms. In two years, Anna hopes to transfer to a
four-year art school to continue studying art, specifically graphic design, and anima-
