McKenna is a pure ball of sunshine.
She is the leader of the Design Team
(her sun sign is Aries, which means
she is well suited for the job) and
loves making the pages of our journal
look as beautiful as the words and
photos deserve to be. Her background
in journalism and visual arts has
cultivated her unique design aesthetic.
In her free time, you can find McKenna
insisting that she can rap the entire
two-hour soundtrack of the Broadway
hit musical Hamilton, collecting rocks
and flowers, or daydreaming about
her next tattoo.

Advisor

Courtney is an associate faculty at
Cascadia and feels fortunate to be
the instructor of the Yours Truly team
this year. She is a multi-passionate
artist who loves to combine the
written word and the visual arts to
create mixed media and hybrid
works, like her book and card deck
Body Cards, which will be published
in August of this year. She loves
peach tea, sunflowers, and animals,
and has a dream of cuddling a cow
in a warm, sunny pasture some day.
