Laura has been a student at Cascadia since the fall of 2014 . She is a Running Start high school student , graduating this spring . She works with kids at Quiet Heart Wilderness School every Friday and at Wilderness Awareness School during summer camps . Her passions include writing poetry , writing and playing music , and creating space for young people to be creative . Sage is not a cool enough dragon for fire , so she breathes words instead . She has been a student at Cascadia since 2014 . A novelist at heart , she is fascinated by the psychology of characters and relationships over time . When not writing or learning , Sage enjoys mosh pits , all things gritty or macabre , and telling her equine beastie all about how wonderful he is .
