Thanks to Southwark News
Southwark News came together with the local community to raise an
amazing £100,000 for Evelina London.
The money will provide new ventilators for premature babies as well as
an infant warming system which
provides heat for babies that are
too sick to maintain their own
temperature. The money will also
provide a new intensive care cot
that mimics the womb and the
Evelina Hospital School will
be able to hire a professional
storyteller who will work

Did you see we recently launched the Evelina
London Book Club? Some of our very sick children
can’t eat chocolate and we didn’t want them to feel
left out this Easter, so we asked for donations of
new books. We’re trying to fill a library with books
that will help parents and their children deal with
difficult situations, feelings or looking different.
You can donate to the Evelina London Book
Club any time of the year – read more at

We’re very excited that Berkeley Homes SE have chosen Evelina London as
their charity of the year for the next two years. They chose us after a staff
vote and hope to put their fundraising towards our Paediatric Intensive
Care Unit, as a colleague’s child was treated there.
Could we be your company’s next Charity of the Year? Please get in touch
at [email protected] to find out more.
