Through our previous articles you now understand what you need to do as you walk down the fairway and approach each and every shot. Being aware of the phases you work through are key to you maintaining the mindset required for your success. As a reminder the phases are: • Pre- Shot Phase • Action Phase • Post Shot Phase You have prepared for your shot and assessed everything you need to. You move into the action phase and make your swing, with the only thought being exactly where you want the ball to finish. The mistake many golfers make as they approach their golf ball is a brief thought of where they don’t want the ball to finish. The challenge when this happens is that you first have to think about the ball going where you don’t want it to go before you can think about it going somewhere else.
