MIURA CB57 IRONS
The phrase “You get what you pay
for” is more often true than not. I can think of
numerous items I’ve bought in my life that when I went
cheap I regretted it later on because of the quality. On the flip side
I’ve had many experiences when I did invest a little extra and it paid off
in the long run. Golf is the same, that pro shop starter set might get the ball
around the golf course ok, but is it really going to hold up or even work to the level
you want? If you place twice a year, it will be fine, but if you are serious about your
game, why not invest in it. Miura irons are the highest quality investment you can make in
your iron game.
Why would you invest in Miura irons? If you want the highest quality forged irons made exactly
to your specs, you won’t find a better iron. Some think that Miura’s are only for pros or scratch
golfers, but that simply isn’t true. The CB57 irons are a forgiving forged cavity back iron that any
mid-handicap or lower golfer can play. If you play around “bogey” golf, these could definitely be in
your bag for years.
The Miura CB57 irons are one of the nicest looking irons on the market. They have minimal stamping,
no colours, and clean lines. Not only are they very good looking, they have great feel. Miura uses a
very soft steel that is forged into the clubhead. From there a hosel is welded on for precision, from
club to club unmatched by other manufactures. This unique process provides Miura with a complete
package; great feel, great looks and consistent performance.
I ordered mine with DG S300 shafts and Miura logo’d Pure grips. Every club came in exactly
on spec at D3. You could tell the quality from the shipping box down to each ferrule done
just right. I didn’t really need any fancy or exotic specs, but if you do, they can certainly
accommodate your requests
On the course is where the “rubber hits the road,” and this is a solid
investment. They do everything you want them to do while playing.
They have sufficient forgiveness so that even miss-hits aren’t
totally penalised, yet good strikes are repeatedly rewarded
with good results. I found these hit on a good
mid-high
