WHAT IS THE COMPANIES USP, WHAT DO YOU
STAND FOR?
WHAT SETS BUNKER APART FROM THE MAJOR
MANUFACTURES?
As a brand we are devoted to game and dedicated to our
own style of ‘Modern British Golf’. Our clothing is designed
without compromise for a player who has an individual
personality and lifestyle and is looking for a new level of
taste and substance in golf apparel.
First and foremost design and style are the key to what
we do. Bunker Mentality is defined by dynamic colour,
graphic energy, attention to detail and an irreverent sense
of humour.
Our love of the game means everything we do is designed
to celebrate the sport and encourage more people to take
part. Bunker Mentality is a reflection of our own and our
customers golf life style and ‘mentality’.
The brand started with the graphic t-shirts that allowed us
to communicate our view of the game and to bring humour
into it. We take the game seriously but ourselves less so
which is why we love having a good time on the course.
WHAT ARE THE KEY 2015 PRODUCTS?
WHERE WILL WE SEE YOU?
Our technical polo shirts are very, very popular and this
season the Camo Polo’s have been a riot. We are seeing
more and more customers buying complete outfits to make
up their own unique ‘Game Day’ look. This is something
we are working hard on to help customers make the right
shirt, trouser combinations to create their unique look.
Then accessorising with caps and belts to achieve a classy
‘Modern British Golf’ style.
We sponsor European Tour Winner Simon Dyson and
also the Jamega Pro Tour in the UK, we also have a lot
of amateur ambassadors. We have just closed this year’s
programme and we have seen over 1200 people apply for
one of our selected spots, players of differing skill levels but
one common link…they like Bunker Mentality.
Our fastest browning range is our Golf Lifestyle line which
is unique to us. We have polo shirts and t-shirts that have
various golf graphics and slogans which tell people the
wearer is a ‘golf addict’. When people first see them they
use to say…’oh I won’t be allowed to wear that on the
course’ which is fine, that’s not necessarily their purpose,
they are for wearing everywhere, going out, down the
pub or taking the kids to the park. So many people wear
trainers who never run and this is casual wear for golf fans.
It’s interesting that these shirts have been our best sellers in
Japan for the last 5 years. No limits when it comes to dress
code in Japan and that’s now filtered in to Europe and the
UK. This is a great game and it really needs to open up, the
world has moved on and it needs to catch up.
