2015
MAJOR PREVIEW
Golf fans around the world could not complain
about the 2014 season, the European’s especially,
who enjoyed success in three of the four major golf
tournaments during the year but also secured a
Ryder Cup victory against the USA. It was a good
year for Rory McIlroy, winning both the The Open
Championship and the PGA Championship and
German Martin Kaymer took the US Open title. It was
American Bubba Watson, who prevented European
golf taking a clean sweep of the majors in 2014 by
clinching the Masters by 3 shots.

The four major tournaments will once again be
taking centre stage in 2015 for both players and fans
alike, so what could they have in store for us this time
around?
This first major of the year and perhaps the most
anticipated is the Masters, held in April and will once
again be contested at the Augusta National, Georgia.
Rory McIlroy currently has four major titles to his
name, two of which were won in 2014 and the only
one that continues to elude the Northern Irishman is
the Masters.
