Annual General Meeting 10th October 2013 2013 We would like to invite you to our 2013 Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will be held at The Source, Meadowhall Way, Sheffield, on Thursday 10th October. The meeting will start at 5:30pm and will follow a similar format to previous years with presentations, displays and SYPA staff on hand to answer any of your questions. We have a new chairman this year, Councillor Keith Goulty, who will be chairing the AGM for the first time. The agenda for this year’s meeting will include a presentation on the Administration Review given by Gary Chapman, the Head of Pensions Administration, and John Hattersley will present the Investment Review in his role as Fund Director. The meeting will conclude with a question and answer session. As in previous years, we would like you to submit your questions prior to the meeting via the online ticket application form, which is at www.sypensions.org.uk/agmticket/index.html There will also be an opportunity at the end of the meeting for any further questions but please be aware that our speakers will not be able to answer questions relating to your own personal circumstances. However, SYPA staff will be available to help you with your queries during a light buffet after the formal agenda. Admission is by ticket to Scheme members only by completing the online ticket application form. Due to fire regulations there is a limit of 150 tickets for the event. If it becomes oversubscribed we will hold a lottery. Transport will be provided should you have difficulty getting to and from the venue. Please indicate your transport requirements on the ticket application form. Added attractions at this year’s AGM!!! We will also be hosting a number of displays at the AGM which will include; The Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner for South Yorkshire providing an insight into the role of the Police and Crime Commissioner and to hear your views on what types of crime prevention the policing budget should be spent on. SYPA help desk & information point to help with all your questions plus an interactive display of our website and online facilities. Marketing Sheffield promoting up and coming events in Sheffield as well as general tourist information. Business Doncaster Tourist Board promoting up and coming events in Doncaster including the Yorkshire Wildlife Park and The Mansion House. We look forward to seeing you there! 4
