abies cry because they cannot
talk. Babies are human beings,
and they have needs and desires,
just as we do, but they can't express
them. Even if they could talk, very
often they wouldn't understand
why they feel the way they do, they
wouldn't understand themselves well
enough to articulate their needs, so
babies need someone to help them
figure it all out. Their cries are the
only way they can say, "Help me!
Something isn't right here!"
The average parent with a crying
baby, gets fewer than six hours of
sleep a night. Surveys show, three
in 10 couples who had split up said
sleep deprivation since having their
child was a factor in the breakup.
Nearly 45% said they had dozed off
in a place they shouldn't have or was
unsafe, with one in 20 admitting to
falling asleep at the wheel of their car.
