Support
working in partnership with
How to get the help and support you need
Most of us want to live independently in our own homes for as long
as possible and we all have times when we could do with a helping
hand. Particularly as we get older some of the day-to-day tasks
become a little more difficult.
Some of us may need help with personal care, such as washing and
bathing, preparing meals, shopping, getting to and from appointments
or even cleaning.
Age Concern Birmingham together with their partner organisation
Jubilee Citizens UK provide a range of services that can help.
Our Services
Domestic support
We offer help with general every day tasks such as
ironing, shopping and even accompanying you to
appointments.
Respite and sitting
We offer a respite service for your care giver, giving them the opportunity to have a
break from their caring role. This may be for a couple of hours, a half or full day.
Personal care support
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission for our personal care service.
This service is perfect for those wishing to live independently in the community
but who require support with daily tasks at home that they may be unable to do
themselves.
Tailored care
We can also offer tailored care packages to suit individual needs and provide quality
care, ensuring that dignity is maintained and that people are respected at all times.
“We provide our clients with the reassurance
of having experienced, reliable and
trustworthy helpers to deal with everyday
tasks in the familiar surroundings of their
own home.”
We take the welfare and ultimately the
peace of mind of all our clients extremely
seriously. All our staff undergo a rigorous
recruitment, selection and training
process, and they are also required to
pass a Disclosure and Barring Service
check (DBS).
