Your flexible family -friendly travel options
There are several different ways you can travel to the Alps meaning you can choose the option that works best for you and your family. Whether you choose to fly, drive or hop on a train, this guide should help you decide the best option for you.
fly
Catching a plane is by far the quickest way to get to the Alps, although we understand that navigating an airport can be a challenge for any parent! Once you’re on board however it is a fairly short flight at around 1 hour 30 minutes, so you’ll be there in no time.
We offer inclusive Gatwick flights direct to Geneva with all our holidays making it a great value way to travel. We also include your transfer to resort helping you get to your family ski chalet as soon as possible.
If flying from Gatwick isn't an option we are pleased to offer flexible flight and transfer options for guests using regional flights with BA, Easyjet and other airlines.
DRIVE
We offer Eurotunnel Flexiplus channel crossings with all our packages as great alternative to flying. Les Gets is particularly easy to drive to, as one of the nearest French resorts to the channel. Les Menuires and La Plagne are also only an hour further down the autoroute.
The Eurotunnel FlexiPlus service gives you great flexibility on timings, avoids boarding queues and gives you access to an exclusive lounge where you can stock up on complimentary drinks, snacks and newspapers.
We’ll give you sat-nav coordinates for your chalet so you can drive directly there with all your luggage and skis in one place. There is no waiting for baggage claim or other potential delays.
If you do decide to drive, remember you will also need to budget for fuel, tolls (approx £60 each way), breakdown insurance and snow chains.
