PICKING A

CHALET

Whether or not you choose to come away with Ski Famille, we recommend you consider the following when choosing accommodation for your family holiday.

Skiing is, of course, an important part of any ski holiday and being close to the ski lifts can make a big difference to your holiday experience. Choosing accommodation close to a ski lift means you can skip the buses completely and minimise any time spent lugging of equipment on and off the piste.

All our chalets are within 5 minutes walk of the ski lifts so when you are ready to set off in the morning you can be on the slopes in no time!

Proximity to Ski Lifts

having enough space

It’s always nice to stay somewhere that feels airy and spacious but with the bulkier clothing and equipment you’ll need to bring on a skiing holiday, having enough space is even more important.

Holidaying as a family may mean that you require more than just a bedroom to relax in, and having large, comfortable, social spaces to enjoy quality time together is vital. All our chalets come with dedicated playrooms and lounge areas as well as cosy bedrooms. Chalet accommodation is very similar to staying in a large house, meaning children are free to explore and play just as they would at home.

catered or non-catered?

While lots of families like to eat out or choose self-catering on holiday, spending the whole day on the slopes can be tiring and the last thing you may feel like doing is heading out for a meal or spending hours in the kitchen preparing your own.

Our chalets are fully catered six nights a week, from providing you with a delicious and hearty breakfast to a stunning three-course meal. View our sample menu here.
