2 STEPS TO REINVENTING YOUR
R
written by Mariel Alvarado
einvention is a hot topic, especially in
the lives of women and mompreneurs.
Have you ever felt stuck or like you’re
loosing your luster a little bit?
Have you ever felt a little indecision when
waking up in the morning because you aren’t
quite sure what you should be doing and you
feel like you’re just ready for the next chapter
in your life?
If you answered “yes” to any of these
questions, then maybe it’s time to reinvent
your life!
We had such an amazing time interviewing
Randi Levin-Transitional Life Strategist
because, lets face it…who we are in our 20s
is not who we are in our 30s, 40s and 50s.
“We make all these decisions in our 20s
and, as we get older, we realize that those
decisions don’t necessarily make us happy in
our 30s or 40s,” says Randi. “As we get older,
we are not the same person.”
In our interview, we confirmed our
suspicions! Women reinvent themselves
more than men because our roles as
mothers, nurturers and givers, at one point
or another, make us come to the realization
about self care. At some point, we become
acutely aware of questions like, “What have
I done for me lately?” or “How am I taking
care of myself?” Sound familiar?
So, according to Randi Levin, in your journey
to reinvention, the first thing you want to do
is: “Listen to your life!”
Randi says there are two steps and 7
questions to ask yourself when you’re
looking to reinvent your life, career, body or
relationship.

STEP 1. Listen to your life. Sometimes we
just need to slow down enough to ask the
questions and listen to ourselves.
STEP 2. Figure out where you are by asking
yourself these questions:
What would you do if it were 10 years ago?
What is your intuition telling you?
What happened at work that is
bothering you?
What is going on in your family?
Is this the right time for something?
What do you want your story to be?
What do you want your legacy to be?
As Randi says, we all have a personal GPS
and there is more than one route to getting
to the places we want to go to. In Randi’s
coaching practice, she has a special acronym
that helps her clients program their life for
success: GPS.
G-Growth-Make sure you have a way to
measure every step of the process. Make
sure you recognize your milestones and
celebrate your growth.
P– Purpose-It is important to discover why
we want what we want. Reconnect to your
WHY. Your purpose will change with time.
S-Success Steps-It is important to identify
what your INDIVIDUAL success steps are
because they are different for everyone!
If you can answer some of these questions
and define where you are, you can move
toward the beginning of your new chapter.
