o August is well and truly upon us and we’re all gearing up for Pride 2013! This year promises to be one of the best Galway has ever seen, in this issue we take a look at The history of the first parade and check out the back cover for events taking place all around the city. In this issue Your Gay Galway is exploring issues of LGBT representation in various different Media forms. Nula Ward form AMACH! LGBT dropped by to remind us of the importance of the organisation and also fills us in on future projects the group has planned, to help the community yet further. Culture and Society tackles the ongoing issue of unemployment and the pressures facing young people in today’s modern Ireland. In other news this will be the final PRINTED Your Gay Galway for the foreseeable future, so thank you to all the writers and very talented cover artist for all their efforts. We are very excited to unveil the website, where people can still catch up on loads of different issues as well as contributing yourself and being published on our online editions!
