Andrew Mueller , Class of 1987 , passed away July 25 , 2021 .
Jim Rowland , Class of 1988 — Dr . Jimmy “ Jim ” H . Rowland , age 63 , of Hawkinsville , Georgia passed away Friday , February 5 , 2021 at Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville , Georgia . Dr . Rowland was a native of Tifton , Georgia and was a member of International City Church of God in Warner Robins , Georgia . Jim was a chiropractor in Warner Robins , Hawkinsville and Macon , Georgia . He was a volunteer fire fighter with the Centerville Fire Department and was preceded in death by his parents , James Hubert and Nell Clements Rowland . Survivors include his wife , Carla Dianne Howell Rowland of Hawkinsville , Georgia ; sons , Joshua Davis Rowland and Matthew James Rowland both of Hawkinsville , Georgia ; and a daughter , Rachel Hannah Rowland of Hawkinsville , Georgia .
Arthur Pritchard , Class of 1992 , passed away November 1 , 2020 .
Brent Levin , Class of 1996 — Brent Charles Levin of Tunkhannock , Pennsylvania died on December 2 , 2020 . Brent was born in Denver , Colorado on August 25 , 1964 to Kathryn Levin and Charles Wacker , where he was also raised by Norman Levin and Vicky Wacker . He is survived by his three children : Joshua Maxwell Levin , Meira Isabelle Levin and Benjamin Samuel Levin ; their mother , his first wife , Susan Levin ; his second wife , Susan Schneider- Levin ; and siblings , Sarah Levin , Chad Wacker and Ryan Wacker . Also surviving are many dear relatives , cherished friends and devoted patients , all of whom Dr . Levin cared for and loved , and who valued and loved him immensely in return . Dr . Levin dedicated himself to forging a welcoming chiropractic practice for more than 22 years . He had an unwavering commitment to bolstering the wellbeing of his community and took pride in serving his fellow man . He will be remembered for his love of life , compassionate heart , wit and love of a good cigar .
Christopher O ’ Dell , Class of 2005 — Dr . Christopher A . O ’ Dell of Brighton was born March 26 , 1981 in Walled Lake , Michigan to Randolph Clay and Deborah Lynn ( nee : Hagman ) O ’ Dell . He died July 18 , 2021 at the age of 40 . Chris is the beloved husband of Ashley ; dear father of Ethan , Hailey , Lucas , Noah , Zane , Ruby and the late Zachary . He is survived by his parents Dr . Randolph and Deborah O ’ Dell ; his sisters Dr . Dana ( Jason ) Corosanite and Dr . Jessica Thompson ; his mother-in-law Kim Huseby and sister-inlaw Jessica Shivers . He is also survived by numerous nieces , nephews , extended family members and friends .
Jonathan Paxton , Class of 2008 , age 38 , of Rome , Georgia , passed away Thursday afternoon , January 7 , 2021 . Jonathan was born in Rome on May 17 , 1982 , son of David Earle Paxton and Kathi Young Paxton Knott . He was a graduate of Rome High School and Life University . Jonathan received his Doctor of Chirorpactic degree from Life U ’ s College of Chiropractic in 2008 . He was a second-degree black belt holder Tae Kwon Do and loved playing video games . Jonathan was a member of the Georgia Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association . Jonathan is survived by his parents , Kathi ( Dennis ) Knott and Dr . David
( Terri ) Paxton , all of Rome , Georgia ; brother Dr . Joshua ( Jessica ) Paxton of Ringgold , Georgia ; sister , Jasmine Paxton of Rome ; and nephews Caleb , Elijah and Isaiah Paxton .
Jennifer Pavlov Askew , Class of 2010 , passed away very unexpectedly at the age of 37 from injuries after an unimaginable accident . Jen was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her . She had a charismatic shine about her that drew people in and filled their hearts with her warmth . Jen ’ s life ’ s work was helping others . Through her successful chiropractic office , she has healed , comforted and helped so many people . She is survived by Todd , her loving husband , and their children , Grace ( 13 ), Henry ( 11 ), Jayme ( 4 ), Clark ( 2 ), Avery ( 1 ) and Holly ( 4 months ); and Jen ’ s daughter , Nalya ( 11 ).
Mark Jones , Class of 2011 , passed away unexpectedly on October 8 , 2020 , at the age of 39 . He was health-oriented , helpful and giving . He leaves behind three beautiful children and a beautiful wife .
Joseph Clauss , Class of 2015 , passed away on Tuesday , October 6 , 2020 at the age of 31 . Born February 1 , 1989 in Plattsburgh , New York , he was a loving husband and son . He received his education at his family ’ s home until high school where he attended Seton Catholic Central . His love of football was too strong for him to not get the chance to play with a team himself . After high school , he attended SUNY Plattsburgh and from there went on to study Chiropractic at Life University . Joseph and Rhiannon were married in Marietta , Georgia on August 7 , 2015 . Joseph became a Doctor of Chiropractic in December 2015 and opened his own practice with his life partner Rhiannon in Lake Placid in June 2016 . Some of Joseph ’ s most loved things are his dogs , cats , gardens , chickens and fish . He loved the mountains for both hiking and skiing . He loved cooking , boating and football Sundays . Anyone who knew him knew his ability to light up a room . He made sure everyone felt his love with every interaction . His most recent accomplishment was completing the barefoot 46 , beginning the legend of the # Gingergoat .
