Dr . Eric Plasker ’ s LLW Talk
Inspires Generations of Chiropractors
“ Participating in LIFE Leadership Weekend ( LLW ) is such an honor . It is humbling to realize how much trust and confidence the University , Board of Trustees , LIFEforce doctors , faculty , staff , alumni , parents , families and prospective students put in me to do this very important volunteer job .”
Dr . Eric Plasker , a 1985 graduate of Life University and a practicing chiropractor for 35 years , shared , “ When I think about the difference this talk makes for people , it is emotionally overwhelming . I ’ ve scheduled my life around it .”
Life U wants to celebrate Dr . Plasker ’ s 40th LLW Friday Night Talk . Many students have attributed his talk to the reason they decided to become a chiropractor while confirming that Life U was the right choice for their education . His enthusiasm about the chiropractic profession is unmatched .
“ We need more chiropractors in the world . There are 1.1 million medical doctors in the U . S . and 1.1 million lawyers , but only around 70,000 chiropractors . We need more purposeful chiropractors to have the impact our industry is capable of contributing to humanity .” Plasker believes there is a fundamental shift required in our healthcare system , and this is part of the impact he hopes to make with his life and LLW contributions . There is a Stephen Covey quote that says , ‘ sometimes people climb the ladder of success only to find out the ladder was leaning against the wrong wall .’ I believe we have an entire healthcare system with the ladder leaning against the wrong wall , and Chiropractic has the answer .”

over the world to LLW , so I want to make sure it is always current and relevant for everyone .” He explains that his philosophy for changing the talk is simple : “ new world , new talk , same principle .” Dr . Plasker hopes to inspire the next great generation of chiropractors to lead , long after he is gone .
In addition to his practice , Dr . Plasker has been traveling the world since 2000 providing postgraduate training and education to thousands of doctors on pediatric , family , sports and performance chiropractic , and most importantly , the chiropractic lifestyle .
In 2007 , Dr . Plasker released his international best-selling book “ The 100 Year Lifestyle ,” becoming a thought leader in the chiropractic and wellness industries .
