Effective Fall 2021 , Life University implemented a new approach to instruction . Life U continues its commitment to the Mission and Vision of the University , as well as providing a quality education for its students . This commitment includes the colleges ’ continued work in developing and implementing an advanced , flexible , instructional model that supports the needs of today ’ s learners and the changing higher education landscape . That model is called LIFE Flex . LIFE Flex is an innovative approach to course delivery that provides students with flexibility and multiple learning opportunities .
With LIFE Flex , students can choose to engage with their class in a face-to-face experience on campus or synchronously ( real-time ) online via Blackboard , Life U ’ s learning management system . A self-guided , asynchronous ( not real-time ) option may also be available in Blackboard for a portion of a student ’ s courses . With LIFE Flex , students have options in deciding how , where and when to engage with the professor and their classmates .
LIFE Flex is Life U ’ s way of demonstrating that our students ’ education and wellness are our primary concerns by offering access to more courses in a format that fits their lifestyle .
