Alumni-Student Engagement Dinner
The Life University Alumni Association and Alumni Office connect alumni and friends with students for engagement opportunities to connect , learn and grow .
This year we held three Philosophy Night events , where different practicing alumni and friends shared a perspective on chiropractic philosophy . Dr . Eric Russell spoke in April about “ How to Communicate the Philosophy of Chiropractic Authentically ”, Dr . Samantha March-Howard spoke in July about how to “ Rock Chiropractic Your Way ” and Dr . Stephen Franson spoke in October on Applied Philosophy : “ How Old School Philosophy Builds the New School Practice .”

Additionally in October , we held an Alumni-Student Engagement Dinner in Socrates Café . This event gave students and practicing alumni and friends the opportunity for more small group conversations to ask questions and obtain mentorships and support . We had 16 DCs on hand to connect with around 80 students . The feedback from both the students and the DCs was overwhelmingly positive .
Due to the pandemic , in-person career fairs were not possible until later ( November ) in the year . However , we were able to pivot and hold a virtual career fair in April where students could virtually visit with practices over a four-hour period .
We look forward to 2022 and more opportunities to connect and engage with our alumni and friends !
