Student Leadership and Community Outreach

Students at Life University are provided with leadership opportunities beyond the classroom to help create the best campus experience . Organizations include Student Ambassadors , the Campus Activities Board , Resident Assistants and Student LIFEforce .
Student Ambassadors Life University Student Ambassadors are an honorary group of students who participate in public relations activities for Life University . Student Ambassadors represent the vision of Life University and the President ’ s office by serving as liaisons to prospective students , leaders in healthcare professions and the greater community .
“ I want to be challenged in an arena that I can learn and be continually mentored ,” explains current Student Ambassador and D . C . Student Kallie Corbin . “ The Student Ambassadors organization is showing me how to become an elite leader that understands that settling for mediocrity is not an option .”
The Mission of the Life University Student Ambassadors is to promote the vision , growth and quality of Life University by optimizing the experience of current students , prospective students and special guests .
“ I love interacting with prospective students and special guests ,” says Nick Shelby , another member of the Student Ambassadors . “ There is no better feeling than seeing them begin to own the vitalistic philosophy and getting excited about serving the masses .”

Campus Activities Board Campus Activities Board is a student-run organization designed to encourage and develop leadership skills through participation in programming at Life University .
“ I choose to serve at LIFE because when I came here , I didn ’ t know anyone , but joining the Campus Activity Board gave me a family that helped me through rough moments and allowed me to really grow ,” says Ariana Reyes , CAB Co-President .
CAB seeks to provide engagement opportunities for students in the planning , promotion and presentation of events designed to serve the cultural , educational and social interests of our diverse student body .
Esteban Diaz , Committee Chair of Entertainment for CAB , notes , “ being in CAB means I can make a difference on campus , help the student body unite and have an enjoyable campus life .”
CAB loves hearing new suggestions , and even more , they love to give a student or organization support to create their idea and lead it . The best way to reach CAB is through Engage , and / or by email at CAB @ Student . LIFE . edu with ideas and inquiries about ways to get involved .
Resident Assistants The Resident Assistant ( RA ) position is a premier leadership position within the Office of Housing and Residence Life . The main function of the RA is to build relationships with residents in an effort to provide individualized support , campus resource information and academic encouragement . The goal of the RA is to ensure that LIFE feels like home for residential students by building community within their respective wing or floor .
Student LIFEforce Student LIFEforce ( SLF ) provides a platform for students to establish connections with LIFEforce Doctors and develop their leadership skills . SLF honors the LIFEforce motto : “ We will not stop until everyone on the planet has access to chiropractic care and a chiropractic education if they so choose .” Members volunteer at a wide variety of events , on and off campus , to connect with the chiropractic community .
“ The experiences that I have had in Student LIFEforce have been some of the top highlights of my student career thus far ,” says D . C . student Marcus Hummel . “ The ‘ struggle ’ of school has been far more manageable and fulfilling when you are going through struggles alongside people with a bigger vision who are not complaining about everything . I have found so many opportunities through SLF to give of myself .”
