Running Eagles Club Stay Committed

On the header of the Running Eagles Club , you ’ ll see the words “ Stay Committed .” My staff and I talk a lot about this concept of interested vs . committed . Interested people say things like , “ I ’ ll succeed if the circumstances are right — if it ’ s easy .” But committed people say , “ I ’ ll succeed despite my circumstances .” Since 2014 , Life University Athletics has seen a relentless focus on growth . We are passionate about using sport as a vehicle for education while continuing to provide our student-athletes with a first-class experience centered around academic , social and athletic growth .
BUT — the time has come to take on big challenges .
The Running Eagles Club was developed so that our true believers , our biggest fans , old friends , new friends , alumni and community partners can help make our big plans a reality . While we have many projects in the works , members of the Running Eagles Club directly contribute to our number one priority , which is to increase the athletic aid available to our student-athletes . Our goal is for all of our sport programs to be fully funded according to the financial aid limits of our governing body . Hitting this goal not only means that LIFE Athletics has the resources to offer elite prospective student-athletes the opportunity to attend and play for Life University , but it also means that our student-athletes have an appropriate amount of aid so that they can focus their time on being the very best student and athlete they can be .
For this year only , you can join the club as a Founding Member , which comes with physical name recognition that will be displayed permanently in one of our athletic spaces . For $ 1,200 , you can forever be recognized as part of this special group . Our normal membership rate is $ 200 annually , and there is a special rate for young alumni ( available for the first five years after graduation ) for just $ 50 annually . We can spend our time saying what we want and talking about what we need , or we can spend our time planning for how we get there . We succeed by working with you to continue raising the bar for Life University Athletics . We ask for you to help in making our big plans a reality . The Running Eagles Club helps us control our own destiny and thoughtfully shape the future of Life University and its student-athletes .
