Little diggers: Students joined in the ground breaking ceremony at the site of Crestline Elementary School in last September. 2. In from the fields: Image Elementary School students helped harvest food for the SHARE food bank at the WSU Heritage Farm in Hazel Dell. 3. Veterans affairs: ROTC students demonstrated their skills at the annual Mountain View High School Veterans Day assembly. 4. Green Eggs: Three Columbia Valley Elementary School first grade students ham it up with School Board President Victoria Bradford at the annual Cat in the Hat breakfast. 5. Community service: Students from Ellsworth Elementary School collected cans of food during December for the Evergreen School District Foundation's Pantry Project. 6. Top of the mountain: $10,000 was awarded to Mountain View High School from KATU's "Cash for Schools" contest. The station's Carl Click presented the check during an assembly. 7.
