What was your relationship with the charity like?

We mostly dealt with Eamonn, who sits on the board but I had slightly more contact with him due to me being his point of contact, picking up the equipment from him and working for him in his event company 'Very Creative'. This meant I could talk with him face-to-face about how to run events, developing a better relationship and the experience with his company bolstered my CV and increased my confidence and assertiveness when networking in the industry (Dahl, 2012; Smith, 2008).

What did you learn from working in a group?

Firstly I realised how hard it can be to come to a decision. As a group we played with a few ideas (outdoor sports event, skydive, dance theatre performance) but when trying to make them work they didn't seem possible and we
