Your High School New High School Experience
Attending school in a new country will be
an exciting challenge. The skills you
develop from studying a new curriculum,
and possibly even in another language,
will give you a great advantage in your
future studies and career. Going to school in a new country
opens you up to a huge range of new
experiences. Maybe you’ll find
yourself starting the school day with
the Argentinian ritual of “el saludo de
la bandera” or joining your new
friends for a three course lunch in the
school cafeteria in France. Whatever
destination
you
choose
we
guarantee you will come back more
knowledgeable and mature as well as
with a load of fascinating stories to
tell.
In addition to compulsory courses, in
most destinations it is also possible to
select from a variety of elective subjects.
This is your chance to try something
completely new and perhaps develop a
passion for a subject area and career
path that you had never considered
before.
You’ll also have the chance to get
involved in after school clubs and
activities – a great way to meet new
friends and have some fun.
YOUR
HIGH
SCHOOL
"My class made me feel welcome straight
away and asked me about New Zealand. By the
first three days of school I had already made good
friends and had plans for the weekend.
Social Hub
Your new high school overseas
will be the social hub of your
exchange. This is where you will
make new friends, not only with
the local students, but also most
likely with other international
students from around the world.
You will share stories and
experiences, learn together and
forge lifelong bonds that will mean
you come back from your
exchange with a social circle of
close friends situated all over the
globe.
To anyone who is considering going on an
exchange; DO IT! It has changed my life forever."
