HOST FAMILY
Your host family is the heart of your exchange. You will share
everyday life with them and join their family traditions.
Host families go through a thorough application process, including an in-home
interview and background checks, before they are selected. Our staff and local
representatives spend a lot of time finding the right host family for you. Your host
family will have a genuine interest in exchange and will be excited to welcome you
into their home and share their everyday lives with you.
Once your placement with a host family has been confirmed we will contact you
with all the details and you will be encouraged to start communicating with them.
This match may happen anywhere from a few months to a week before your
departure.
