TRADITIONAL PROGRAMME
Spend a semester or academic year in the USA and you will get the chance to truly
immerse yourself into the culture and experience the seasons. Departures are available in
both January and August for a semester or academic year. Placements are throughout the
country. State choice is available for an extra fee.
SHORT TERM PROGRAMMES

Our two and three month exchanges allow you to experience the best of the US without
interrupting your New Zealand schooling. Select your destination – Great Lakes or
California.
CALIFORNIA
Spend your exchange in San Diego and you will discover why it is known as ‘America’s
finest city.’ Jam-packed with world famous attractions, picturesque beaches and perfect
weather, this bustling city is filled with laid back, friendly locals – what’s not to love?
Choose from four, seven or twelve weeks. Departures are available throughout the year
except for July and August. You will attend a private school and stay with a paid host
family.

GREAT LAKES
Based in either Michigan or Indianapolis you will experience typical Midwest American life,
including snow sports and maybe even a white Christmas. Imagine spending your holidays
ice skating, snow tubing and tobogganing. If indoor activities are more your style then you
can explore huge malls and American favourites like the Hard Rock Café. This exchange is
for eight weeks. Departure is in early December. You will attend a public school and stay
with a paid host family.
