First borns tend to be high achievers. They like to take control of situations since they had all of their parents attention when they were by themselves. They like to be organised and tend to be perfectionists. Their main source of entertainment comes from books and they can spend hours on one thing in order to get it perfect.
Middle borns are known as 'the peacemakers' of the family. In other words they are the middle ground in arguements. They tend to have good negoitating skills and are more willing to go with the flow. They are more attetion seeking than firstborns and in order to make up for the shared attention they tend to have lots of friends.
The baby of the family tends to be much more outgoing than their older siblings. Once they join the family, the attention is much more shared out. Therefore they have more freedom and generally get away with more than their siblings. They are uncomplicated and funny people and they are very good at making friends.
Only children share a lot of characteristics with firstborns. They prefer to be alone and you can often find them reading a book. They generally have a lot of confidence. They like to be the centre of attention. They are responsilbe from a young age and tend to grow up quite quickly.
Of course these characteristics will not fit everybody since there are many variables when it comes to birth order and personality. These are just rough outlines of how one would expect their children to be based on the order they are born in.
