ShipCon 2022
ShipCon is YoungShip ’ s flagship event and is designed to bring together young professionals in the maritime industry to share knowledge , network , and collaborate on industry-wide issues . ShipCon 2022 was hosted by YoungShip Bergen in September 2022 and was a resounding success .
Around one hundred YoungShippers from different departments around the world gathered together at Clarion Hotel in Bergen . The theme of the conference was “ A Voyage from Cradle to Grave ” and featured a variety of speakers from different sectors of the industry .
Young Corporation Award is presented annually at ShipCon . The award is an initiative of YoungShip that recognizes corporations in the maritime industry that demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting and developing young professionals . The winner of 2022 was Grieg Group , who was recognized for its efforts to support the development and advancement of young professionals in the maritime industry .
