The award was first launched in 2013 with the aim of developing Nor-Shipping as a platform for the next generations of our industry . The winner of the 2022 award was Christian Niijst , founder and CEO of VALUE Maritime , 2022 a company that has developed a sustainable and cost-effective solution for cleaning exhaust gas emissions from ships . Nijst ’ s solution addresses environmental concerns while also contributing to the overall sustainability of the industry .
