YoungShip Texas want to thank all our supporters and members for their support throughout 2022 . The board commenced 2022 with new board members . Itoro Israel was nominated as the
secretary , Myles West as event coordinator and William Cho as the treasurer .
As part of our membership , we host bi-monthly Networking Happy Hour events with the support and sponsorship from industry companies . In February , we were able to host our social event with great success . We had over 100 people in attendance , presented our new board and collected many new members thanks to our event sponsor Houston Mooring .
During the Americas Breakbulk conference in Houston , Texas , YoungShip Texas was able to receive discounts for YoungShip members and attendees . YoungShip Texas also had one of their own on stage . Itoro Israel spoke on Talent Gap and the Future of Work .
In November , we had our second annual TopGolf event that included numerous sponsors . Sponsor options included bays , food , drink and signature room . This event had almost 100 people in attendance !
To end the year , we were invited by G2 Ocean to attend a joint holiday party in December where numerous YoungShip members were in attendance . We look forward to future events in 2023 that will strengthen our current and new partnership with the industry .
