EVERY NIGHT BEFORE I FALL ASLEEP Every night before I fall asleep I lay down in the grass, I look up to the stars. And I wonder. I wonder if there's something Out there that looks so Strange as I feel. Why do I feel like home when I look deep into the space? It's like my body and soul Both turn into stardust, And my brain ascends and turns into light. Margarida Coelho SILVA , Portugal I DIDN'T SLEEP LAST NIGHT I didn't sleep last night 'Cause I'd been reading old letters... Thinking about those golden days. And watching the white of my eyes going red. No money in the world could buy back the moments we shared. All the laughs. All the tears. Margarida Coelho SILVA , Portugal I AM AFRAID I am afraid. Afraid of doing something wrong. Afraid that if I say something, You will be mad. I'm afraid that, because I'm sad I'll end up making you feel bad The way I was afraid I would. Margarida Coelho SILVA , Portugal TEACH ME Teach me. Teach me how to see The world in a different way. Teach me to see myself As you do everyday I want to see your thoughts Being made. Your ideas being formed. I want to know how you feel When you lay down and think Of what makes you want to live. Margarida Coelho SILVA,Portugal
