Meet-A-Member LaToya Patterson, BSN, RN YNP Philadelphia Tell us a little about yourself. I am a Philadelphia native, born and raised in this great city, so I am totally invested in my community. I recently graduated from the Jefferson School of Nursing this past May and started working at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in September as a Medical Oncology nurse. I absolutely love what I do, challenges included. I enjoy that nursing provides opportunities to advocate for groups and individuals. We are in a unique role that offers endless and diverse avenues to take actions that improve the lives of other human beings. There is no higher calling than that of helping one another.
