LaToya Patterson, BSN, RN

Tell us a little about yourself.
I am a Philadelphia native, born and
raised in this great city, so I am totally
invested in my community. I recently
graduated from the Jefferson School of
Nursing this past May and started
working at the University of Pennsylvania
Hospital in September as a Medical
Oncology nurse. I absolutely love what I
do, challenges included.
I enjoy that nursing provides opportunities
to advocate for groups and individuals.
We are in a unique role that offers
endless and diverse avenues to take
actions that improve the lives of other
human beings. There is no higher calling
than that of helping one another. I’m so
honored to be part this interesting,
complex, multifaceted career.
