I
s it materials, designs, or
craftsmanship that makes
jewelry precious? That’s
the question Denisa Piatti
ponders as she creates her
one-of-a-kind sea-inspired
creations. Reflecting the
original beauty of seaweed
as it washes ashore, she’s
managed to capture the
natural elements by recreating
it with ethically sourced
materials. The result is
a stunning collection of
adornments that add a unique
touch to accessorize any
outfit.
For Denisa, her love affair
with art began when she was
13 and went with her father
to visit the Secondary School
of Applied Arts in Slovakia.
“Right there and then, I fell in
love with the art of creating
jewelry,” she tells us. Not
long after, she enrolled in an
intensive program to broaden
her skills in jewelry making
techniques. She then went
on to earn her BA in Three
Dimensional Design at art
school in Scotland.
