Yoga Mat
Harness Strap
This strap is inexpensive and
simple to use. With its adjustable
heavy duty easy-release buckles, it can hold
all mat sizes. You can do your own design and choose
your favorite color for your strap. Slip this carrying strap over
your shoulder as you walk or bike to and from your class, or just toting
it between your car and the yoga studio.This strap will work for all mats,
because you do your own size, doesn't matter if your mat is thick or extra-long.
What do you need?
4 Straps of the same length
Hemp/cotton threads (your favorite color)
and a strong needle
A lighter
2 backpack clips
How to:
1. You need to burn all the cut edges of the strap (until the strap doesn’t fray) Be careful! Don’t burn your fingers!
2. Put the strap into your backpack clip as shownin the photo.
3. Sew the strap near backpack clip to secure it.
4. Now you will sew up the other side leave the strap out,so you can adapt the length of the strap to the size of your mat (Repeat these 4 steps with your other backpack clip)
5. When you finish both backpack clips it will look like this (photo)
6. Now you’ll sew up the other two straps on the side A (photo)on both straps to make the handle of your bag.TIP: The two straps I sewed up one under, the other up (photo)
7. At the end, you’ll have something like the photo, and voila!You have your own personal “Yoga Mat Harness Strap”.
