RUE- You've got what I would call a super producer,
I know he just dropped his first album ever, how is it
working with him?
HIPPY- Yeah, I was on the opening track of Jaimal
album, [KNOW]ledge of [g]o[od] an[d evil], "On God"
So make sure to go buy that, shit is like 8 dollars on
Itunes, Spotify, etc.
RUE- Jaimal has produced a lot of your tracks?
HIPPY- Yeah, he has produced "Amazing", "FnF",
"Phantom", and "Chase for the Gold.".
RUE- Chase for the gold needs a video.
HIPPY- Actually, I've been working on a college type
video for that, but Jaimal is like working with my big
bro, so with him everythings organic, and soulful. He
plays the guitar, piano, he plays bass, he can drum, he
can sing,he can do rock, play jazz, rap, he can do all
these different genres so its like whatever we're in the
mood for he will start cooking it up, and the words un-
lock and we go from there, its like so organic, and
everythings from scratch.
RUE- Is there a process to your madness or do you just
throw a set together?
HIPPY- it all depends on the show. If its a house show,
or a club show at a venue.
Sometimes I have a two
song set, sometimes I have
a 30 minute set, but I do
plan it out, like OK, I'm gon'
do this at this point, and
this at this point.....
