It is so exciting to have summer upon us and all the joys that come with more time outdoors , blue skies , long warm days and plenty of fresh summer produce . It is also wonderful that 2020 will soon be behind us and we ’ ll use 2021 to spend time with friends and family , get our health and fitness back on track and enjoy what we all hope is a more settled and predictable year .
This edition of the YMCA Healthy Living Magazine will give you lots of great tips and recipes to help you start the new year with a spring in your step and support your long-term health and wellness goals .
We take a look at how stress can impact your body weight , the best brain foods and nutrition tips for fathers-to-be . There are lots of easy recipes using the wide range of seasonal summer produce plus tips from the experts in sports nutrition on how to increase muscle mass .
