16th
Birthday Gift
The Bible Lesson
in Drawings
Encourage interaction with the
Bible by having your students draw
pictures. Read a passage out loud
together (preferably one like Proverb
26 with lots of analogies and mental
images). Then, hand out paper and
markers and tell your students to
draw the image that most stuck out
to them. If your group is a large one,
split into small groups and have each
group draw a picture.
When everyone’s done, circle up and
have each student share their picture

and why they chose it. Then, use the
pictures as discussion points.

This birthday is important to a teen
for many different reasons. An idea
for you to celebrate this significant
birthday is to give the gift of an
animal. Heifer International gives
animals to help needy people become
self-reliant for food and income. For
as little as $20 you can give a flock of
chicks in honor of this 16-year old.
Isn’t it just as disgusting and when
we keep doing the same stupid sins
over and over again?
Are there things in your life that you
keep coming back to, when you know
you shouldn’t? What?
