Abigail is an imaginative girl who offers random pieces of
fourteen-year old insight and poetry. Never expect anything
normal to come forth from this young writer! Settle in for
the (abbreviated) story of this life. “Children skip home from
school, kicking off their shoes and heading straight for the
sun-warmed fields. Bees buzz and fly in every which way,
and a mild breeze tousles the leaves on the trees. This is late
spring–the time of my birth. Perhaps the bursting life in this
season symbolizes the imagination given to me.
“My childhood was happy and carefree, for the most part.
Most children my age preferred to play with plastic toys, but
I spent much of my time basking in the noonday sun…and eating Vienna sausages.
As I progressed into later elementary and middle school, I dealt with bullying, low
self-esteem, and various other issues. Today, I am confident in myself as a person
and hope to help end bullying and inspire others through my writing.
“Take a stroll through my blog–see what you find in the garden of this girl’s strange
mind!”
