HEALTH Yoga Enhances Beauty physically and mentally U nited Nations General Assembly declared 21st June as International Yoga Day. It is a day for celebrating Yoga and for creating awareness about Yoga and its benefits throughout the world. International Yoga Day in India is celebrated by the Ministry of “AYUSH.” I have always said that good health and beauty are two sides of the same coin. Unless you are healthy from the inside, you cannot reflect true beauty. In this respect, yoga is very relevant, as it helps us to achieve both good health and beauty. Yoga can be included in any exercise programme, but it is best learnt under supervision and guidance. One of the yogic exercises that is necessary for beautiful skin and hair is Pranayam, as it helps to reduce stress, increase oxygenation and improve blood circulation. Pranayama is one of the best exercises of correct breathing. Devoting a few minutes everyday allows natural cleansing of the system.
