Heal the demons in your own heart
before attempting to heal others.
I
t’s time for another one of my spiritual soap
box speeches! Recently, I saw two different
Facebook posts from two different so-called
spiritual and angel messengers that I must
comment on. It is completely baffling to me as to
how someone can say he or she works with angels,
God, Spiritual Guides, or whomever holy to help
others and have NO human moral values. For
example, how can anyone who claims to be a
spiritual practitioner be OPPOSED to gun control in
the USA? How can you think ANYTHING or ANYONE
related to God or spirituality would have anything
to do with guns at all?
There is an opposing political belief in this country
that the easy availability of guns is not the cause of
the widespread mass shootings that have occurred
here. Even though the statistics in most other
countries that have gun control regulations show
significant evidence of a decline to no mass
shootings, the NRA have their followers convinced
that guns don’t kill people; people kill people. Even
if you choose to believe that, a follower of ANY god
shouldn’t support the ownership of guns no matter
what the reason. God, angels and guns don’t go
hand in hand! And if you think you can separate
your political beliefs from your spiritual beliefs,
you’re wrong on that account, too! Your TRUE
spiritual beliefs will dictate your political ones!
