22 Yoga@ganges 23 White Water Rafting 24 Robbers Cave 25 Eco Park, Dhanaulti Himalayan Necklace e RISHIKESH HIKE TO THE HIMALAYAS T he lush green mountains stood like lords under the grey sky as the rain continued to pour down in the valley of the sages - Rishikesh.As a spectator in trance, I just kept looking and looking at the glorious Himalayas with the clouds dancing by its sides. I have been to the Himalayas many times before - Pauri, Rishikesh, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Om Parbat, Darjeeling, Rohtang, even the Khardung La Pass – I have seen it all in my last 10 years of mountain trails. But never before have I been put into a trance. Observing the Himalayas at such a close distance for such a long time in such a situation – the haze of the clouds, the beating rain, the majestic mountains of Tapovan – for me, it was magic.Those particular hours of observation, meditation, and Yoga, those particular moments of being in the moment in such an environment, those particular hours of not being able to take my eyes off the hills amongst the clouds under the rain - I am never going to forget this experience in this life at least. In fact, I am going to treasure and relish it for the rest of my life, may be keep going back to the hills again and 21
